VOOM DISCOUNT COUPON ... for Platinum level?

Hi! I know that diamond level apparently get a VOOM discount ... I'm wondering if there is also a coupon for VOOM for Platinum members? Just trying to decide if I should book the internet prior to sailing or if I wait till I get onboard ... cause the last time I sailed on RCCL, years ago, I remember they gave you a coupon book according to your C&A Level.

I believe the Platinum discount is 15% off a package. So if there is the typical 30% pre-cruise discount, it's obviously better to buy pre-cruise.

I've been debating on getting the Voom package for our cruise in May. We will be on the Majesty of the Seas. Is $11.99 per day for one device truly a 30% discount? This is my first RCI cruise since 1997, so I'm kind of a newbie at this point. TIA!

Thanks for the info! Guess once I book the cruise I'll book internet in advance if that's a 30% DISCOUNT. Also thank you for posting that flier about all the specials they give you. Sadly, not as many as their used to be. . . . I remember getting match play coupons for the casino and many other (and better) deals years ago but costs go up and cruises in general are trying to be more profitable .....

the price you paid for pre cruise internet purchase was determined by your itinerary and the date of your sailing.

I have seen also where excursions thru the ship are offered at a reduced rate.... and also where the prices go up. (supply and demand???)

 

DH and I are on the Jewel in May - 9 nights. Booked internet pre cruise for discount offered (it was better than with our D+ freebies) and booked an RC excursion in Athens when they promoted a 20% off.
