Balmoral Beach Nassau -Advice please!

I need some quick feedback from anyone that has experience with this excursion.

My fellow cruise has a young disabled son who loves sea life. We planned for him to have the sting ray encounter on this cruise. Now comes the issue - she recently broke her leg and will be in a boot with limited or no weight- bearing. One of our group can swap places with her in the water with her son but my concern is for her actually boarding the boat that shuttles us to Balmoral. Is it to unsteady for her to board and be seated safely?

Since we arrive in Nassau on Day 2, I would assume I have to cancel prior to boarding to get a refund.
