Purchasing soda outside of Newark Airport and transportation

Landing into Newark very early in the morning.

Is Uber a good option for transportation to the Bayonne port?

Wanted to stop somewhere to get some soda to bring on board (Celebrity) and didn't know if there was a place we could stop on the way or nearby?

Any recommendation of transportation to accomplish this?

It sounds like this would be a Sunday morning. How early does your flight arrive? You really don't want to get to the port too early - there's absolutely nothing there. What exact kind of soda are you looking for - something really ordinary like coke or something more unusual?

Coke Pepsi whatever. Nothing fancy. Probably no alcohol

One possibility is to take an Uber to Stop and Shop grocery store at Lefante Way in Bayonne, which is on the Peninsula below Cape Liberty.

 

This may not be cost effective depending on how much soda you want to buy.

That early on a Sunday morning there's really no place to go. Absolutely no reason to head to Cape Liberty before 9:30 or 10:00 am
