Regal Princess in Cozumel ship time versus home port time

What time does the Regal use in Cozumel? Ships time or do they adjust to home port time (they don't observe daylights savings time) so need to know as we are meeting an independent tour and want to plan ahead.

Just off the Regal....

we did not change time at all during the western loop including Cozumel. (time was EST or "Florida" time).

The poster is correct, Quintana Roo uses Eastern Standard time year around and no longer switches to Daylight Savings time. All that changes this Sunday (March 12) when the most of the US goes on Daylight Savings time. That means local time in Cozumel will be one hour earlier that EDT. Princess usually observes local time when in port.

One hour earlier than DST or two hours perhaps? Is Cozumel normally one hour behind of EST? So confused. Lol.

Beginning March 12, Cozumel will be one hour earlier than EDT. They stay on EST the entire year.

Correct when Florida is on EST. When Florida goes to EDT, it will be one hour ahead of Cozumel.

Cozumel is the same as EST. Cozumel is one hour behind EDT.

The tour operator mentioned Cozumel was on CT. That's why I was confused.
