Should be Captain Ron Holmes but he's due to go on vacation very very soon.

You are correct. Just got off the Allure today and it was captain Ron Holmes at the helm. Thankfully, we found out at boarding that he made the decision to reverse the itinerary and we skipped all the bad weather. We were even the first ship to be able to dock at Labadee all week.

Captain Holmes was our captain in January. I loved his sense of humor. He was such a great person and it seemed to me his crew really liked him.

yes I had him last year on Allure.  I felt at the time he seemed not quite well.
