Joann12 Posted March 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2017 Hello, I am looking at a shore excursion that goes to Aix En Provence, Cassis & Marseille. We dock in Marseille on a Sunday in September. Can anyone tell me if all the markets and little boutique shops will be closed. I am also wondering about restaurants and cafes? I know that there will be other sights to see, but I love to browse local shops and market places and thought maybe we should look at a different excursion while docked. Thanks.:)

Rare mskaufman Posted March 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2017 We went to Aix on a Sunday. There were a lot of things closed. However, there were enough stores and eating establishments open for our needs. There was also a produce market open. Another benefit was that the streets were less crowded. woody14h Posted March 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2017 We used Provence connections, Contact Silvio. Excellent tour. Aix, Marseille etc. Check out the site. We are in the process of using them again this fall if we can find a tour we want. http://www.provence-connection-tours.com/
