Yes you must choose a time, or Carnival will choose one for you.

 

Basically it is the time you think you will arrive at the port to check in.

So if you choose 11-11:30, you can check in (at the port) anytime after 11.

If you choose 1-1:30, you can check in anytime after 1, but not before. So if you were to show up at 11:00 they would not let you in the cruise terminal building to check in until 1.

Does anyone know the earliest check in time offered in Jacksonville? If the ship sets sail at 4pm, what is the earliest time slot to board?

If you get the FTTF pass what time can you board?

 

There are no "time slots" to board, only to check-in
