juliea344 Posted March 13, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 13, 2017 On Allure, in an owner's suite I couldn't book online but could have through the concierge. I didn't though, it was easy enough to do on the ship. Sent from my XT1575 using Forums mobile app
es0 Posted March 13, 2017 #6 Share Posted March 13, 2017 Are you in a JS? No. I am in a Crown Loft suite
Clarea Posted March 13, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 13, 2017 No. I am in a Crown Loft suite That suite might be a significant difference in the ability to book CK pre-cruise. I just checked our Oasis Cruise Planner, and Coastal Kitchen was not one of the choices available. However, I did see that I could use OBC for pre-cruise bookings, so that's a step forward.:)
cruisegus Posted February 13, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 13, 2018 Based on my experience this past week on Allure, just because your in a Junior Suite does not mean they are going to let you book into Coastal Kitchen for Dinner. This was the biggest disappointment of my sailing on a an oasis class ship, in fact when i tried to book dinner twice the lady at the host station was indigent, mad me feel like i was a steerage passenger trying to get into First Class

Clearly stated "as available". I can see it now....Well, there were no reservations available and now you're mad and probably acted like a putz about it.....She gets defensive. You now have to tell the world your sad story....If this is your biggest disappointment you had a pretty dang good cruise. Spring for the GS and then you can eat there anytime you want. I counted seven. Rather pathetic, really. I wish you better cruises in the future, cruisegus. And it turns out that they didn't deny him; he just didn't like the available times. just off the Alure past Sunday 11 Feb 2018, had junior suite JS, Diamond Lounge was superb, but think i could get a reservation in Coastal Kitchen earlier than 8pm (BTW way to late for us to eat dinner), Not a chance, on top of that the lady at the host station in Coastal Kitchen all but directly told me I was just in a Junior Suite and she could care less to help me ( worst attitude i have ever experienced on RCI cruises. Should know by now how the donut rolls and what the rules are. Ridiculous..

chellecruise12 Posted February 14, 2018 #13 Share Posted February 14, 2018 My mother in law is in a grand suite in Oct on Harmony..Not listed as a choice for her dining.. Hoping we can make arrangements once on board.. Anyone have luck reserving thru the concierge ahead of time? or easy enough to go straight there and make dinner reservations? movingagain1990 Posted February 14, 2018 #14 Share Posted February 14, 2018 My husband and I were in a Grand Suite 9/ 2017 and were able to make our reservations for Coastal Kitchen when we received our email from the Concierge on the Allure of The Seas one week before our sail date. It should be the same since Harmony is also an Oasis Class ship.
