Prinz Posted April 4, 2017 #26 Share Posted April 4, 2017 All-inclusive private restaurant, unlimited drinks in all MSC Yacht Club areas* or your minbar. *Starting Summer 2017, unlimited beverage selection will also be available in all bars and restaurants of the ship according to the drink selection available in the each venue. Yay, Summer has begun. The zero bill is for the opportunity of extra tipping. I don't think it was for tipping. You don't have to sign it, and there's no spot to actually add a tip. They also usually don't give a receipt, just sometimes. Everybody just tips in chips anyway in the casino. Doc2725 Posted April 5, 2017 #27 Share Posted April 5, 2017 From what I have been told, if you are in YC, and because you will be getting free drinks all over the ship, you only have to pay the difference between the basic beverage package and the premium/ultra(whatever the name is for the top shelf drink package), if you want to upgrade. This certainly wasn't the case the last time I sailed in the YC, you had to pay full price for more expensive brands. MSC change all the time, so who knows:)

MSC change all the time, so who knows:) It applies to the new YC drinks shipwide policy. So in the past it makes sense that you wouldn't have seen it :-) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
SNJCruisers Posted April 6, 2017 #31 Share Posted April 6, 2017 I thought I saw on the website that the packages were 45 and 61, so the difference would be 16 per day, plus gratuity to upgrade. Wonder if they would make both occupants of the cabin do it, or possibly only one could upgrade. Formula280SS Posted April 7, 2017 #32 Share Posted April 7, 2017 (edited) I hope this is true, I like a better vodka choice besides Absolute. I prefer Grey goose or Belvedere. Been on the DIVINA B2B on the 3/25 and the 4/1 cruises. On 4/1 pallets of cases of new brands of alcohol and wines in staging areas in all YC bars up front. Grey Goose "totally available" (personally attested to on numerous occasions). Other cruiser's we've met were noticeably happy with the upgraded offerings. Have been to several of the bars around the ship, no problem at all getting drinks (2-3 shots for example in some drinks). Always got a receipt that totaled $00.00. ENJOY. The YC is not only physically and aesthetically stunning but the service and staff (all levels, attitude, smiles, genuine, etc.) are simply unbelievable. I will try to upload image of new alcohol and wine offerings later on today.;);) Edited April 7, 2017 by Formula280SS Added a sentence.
EMc&DrS Posted April 7, 2017 #33 Share Posted April 7, 2017 Does this apply to the specialty coffee drinks as well? Are they included for free throughout the ship for YC passengers? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Prinz Posted April 12, 2017 #35 Share Posted April 12, 2017 Fyi, you now have to sign a zero dollar receipt for every drink. So ordering two drinks on one card means signing two receipts. The waitress said they had a meeting after last week's cruise and the bar manager made this a requirement.
