Downtown Vancouver Hotels

All the hotels listed in Vancouver say No payment now, pay at the property. I do not want the price to jump dramatically when we get there. Advice welcome.

Are you looking at a third party booking service like hotels.com or direct with hotel?

We always go direct to hotel website. We are doing a Marriott property and they are just regular

We stayed at the Victorian last September for several nights. My BOOKING was through an online site that is advertised heavily on TV, not sure if CC allows mention of the name. :D. We got a very good price for it and I was pleased with location and hotel. It's an older hotel that has been remodeled inside but does not have an elevator.

We stayed at the Century Plaza last July. I booked with hotels.com and the price never changed. I confirmed al the details with the hotel prior to arriving.

I stayed at the pan pacific booked thru a third party. The price I got then is what I payed. No problems.

Your booking rate will be honoured. It's common not to have to pay in advance unless you want a special advance booking discount.Vancouver is a cosmopolitan city and very tourism based. A legit downtown hotel will have no worries for you. Always double check reviews and try and stay above 2.5 stars which will keep you out of any dodgy neighbourhoods.

I'm happy to comment on any specific hotels. :). I've stayed at most.
