Bra_BE2014 Posted March 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Hi All, I don't see these restaurants online to pre-book, although all the rest, even mdr's can be reserved. Will I be able to do that with the iconcierge app? Its for the Epic. Thanks in advance! Priscila Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare KeithJenner Posted March 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 24, 2017 I don't know about Wasabi, but Shanghai is generally not available to prebook, even onboard.
SquishTheWhale Posted March 24, 2017 #3 Share Posted March 24, 2017 You can't book, you just have to turn up and queue. We went one lunchtime and there was a queue so we were given a buzzer, but it went off after 5 minutes. Most days we would see people queueing up before opening time though and it was generally busy. Bra_BE2014 Posted March 24, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted March 24, 2017 Thanks for the replies! How funny though, that Wasabi is a specialty restaurant and can't be pre-booked. Have a nice weekend everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Have a nice weekend everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Forums I think it is because Wasabi is never all that crowded. They are open for lunch on Sea days, btw. That's mainly when we eat there. Rare BirdTravels Posted March 24, 2017 #7 Share Posted March 24, 2017 How funny though, that Wasabi is a specialty restaurant and can't be pre-booked. Probably becaise it is not a restaurant. When a guest book a table at Cagneys, thw reataurant can reasonably block that table for 2 hours. Wasabi, some people stop for a drink and a roll and they are out in less than 30 minutes (which is what we do) some may sit for an hour. And there is a very limited number of bar stools (25 total bar stools). No good way to plan for how long to hold bar stool.

It's a sushi bar/counter. You walk up and sit at a counter and eat. Personally, I'd find it stranger if you could pre-book it. LOL! See that tiny bit of carpet to the bottom left of the photo? That's a busy public hallway.

kathiewe Posted March 25, 2017 #11 Share Posted March 25, 2017 We really like Wasabi. Its a great place to grab a pre-meal appetizer or later in the evening snack. We have never had a problem getting a seat and often have eaten with the crew. Enjoy!
qwerty12345 Posted March 26, 2017 #12 Share Posted March 26, 2017 Loved Wasabi! Went one night and was the only family there. During show times it's empty. Shanghai was great but they only have 50 seats. They seat everyone at 530 so if you aren't there at 530, you'll get a buzzer and have about an hour wait. Worth it! JimR24 Posted March 26, 2017 #13 Share Posted March 26, 2017 We ate at Shanghai's twice last week. Once when they first opened and once around 8:30 pm. We didn't have a wait either time. Food was very good and the service was great.
dimples52 Posted March 27, 2017 #14 Share Posted March 27, 2017 No advance reservations for these restaurants. We went to Shanghai and had about a 20 minute wait. Well worth the wait- food was excellent! Sent from my iPad using Forums
