What is the limit of wine bottles that can be carried on board an NCL cruise ship?

Is there a limit to the number of bottles of wine we can bring on board NCL cruise ships? Are 2 bottles per person allowed? I know that there is a $15.00 corkage fee per bottle but didn't find a bottle limit when searching the NCL website.

Thanks for your help.

Wine & Champagne Policy

Guests may bring bottles of wine and champagne on board. When bottles are brought on board and served or consumed in any restaurant, public room area or in their stateroom, a corkage fee will be charged according to bottle sizes noted below.

750 ml Bottle: $15.00 USD

1,500 ml Magnum: $30.00 USD

Wine or champagne sent directly to the ship by travel agents, friends, family, etc. or from another retail source, are subject to the same fees. Box wines are not allowed on board.

Just curious, how do they charge the corkage fee? If you walked on the ship with a bottle, had a small travel corkscrew and opened the bottle in your cabin, when and how would they charge you?

The "corkage fee" has absolutely nothing to do with a cork. It has to do with making money honey. Bring a bottle of wine on, as many as you want, pay the $15/750ml bottle and you open the bottle, cork or no, anywhere you want, cabin, dining room, bar... whatever, wherever.

You pay the corkage fee as you enter the ship based on the number of bottles you have in your possession. Now, if you want to put those bottles in your checked baggage, well, you may not get your luggage until you go down to the "naughty room" and pay the fee there.

Bring it, pay it, enjoy it, anywhere, anytime.

Not my experience; guest services issues refunds either the night before, or the morning of, disembarkation.

What ship were you denied a refund?

Keep in mind there's not a limit but you have to pay the corkage fee on each bottle no matter where you drink it and the fee is not refundable even if you do not drink the bottle of wine on board.

They x-ray carry on and checked luggage. If in checked, the naughty room applies. If carry on, there is a table set-up right after going through security and they will give you a charge slip (even though you haven't checked in) to sign. It will be on your bill. Mine have been billed under a main dining room name.
