It should show up by day 2 once on board..

 

You can call RCI and ask for a new Confirmation Invoice soon after you've made the purchase to ensure that it has been applied to your booking.

Or if you are talking about showing up on the cruise planner it won't.

I don't believe it's related to final payment, that just happened to be when RC rolled out the new policy for using OBC pre-cruise for your sailing.

Did you purchase that OBC or was it part of a promo?

 

In the past there has never been anyway to see purchased OBC ahead of time on any Royal invoice or through the cruise planner. I'm curious if purchased OBC now shows up to use ahead of time through the cruise planner.

It was purchased for us as a gift to help enjoy our cruise.

I can also confirm it happens on day 2

Thanks. That is definitely a change from the past when the only confirmation of purchased OBC was your gift amenity invoice.
