schwaja3 Posted March 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted March 28, 2017 I am thinking of booking on the Escape, and taking the offer of the free dining. I looked at the menus on some of the restaurants that we would want to eat at, Cagneys, Le Bistro, etc; and see they now have A La Carte pricing. Does this mean we would still have to pay at those spots with the free dining? If that is correct, what benefit is the free dining? Thanks. Rare KeithJenner Posted March 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Cagneys, Le Bistro and La Cucina are included with the dining package at no extra charge (you are restricted to one entree).
schwaja3 Posted March 28, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Do you know if Modeno Churrascaria, Teppenyakki or any of the others are included?
Rare KeithJenner Posted March 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Moderno and Teppenyaki are both included, yes. Quite a few others like Bayamo and the show with a meal are also included with an upcharge. If you go to the NCL website and click on where the offer is shown you should find the T&Cs which list any upcharges. Cagneys, Le Bistro, La Cucina, Moderno and Teppenyaki are the ones that are no extra charge.
SquishTheWhale Posted March 28, 2017 #5 Share Posted March 28, 2017 Yes, all of those are included. The set price ones (eg Moderno) are just included as standard, the a la carte ones are included but with the restriction that you can only order one main course per person. You can order multiple sides etc included in the dining package. There are some exceptions- on the Escape these are Food Republic, Bayamo and Pincho Tapas. Dinner shows that are charged for are also generally excluded. Sometimes you can pay an upcharge to eat at these (Bayamo), sometimes they are excluded alltogether (Food Republic). Markanddonna Posted March 29, 2017 #10 Share Posted March 29, 2017 We have been to the LeBistro twice on different ships and was disappointed both times. Our priorities would be Cagneys, Teppanyaki, Moderno, LaCucina and then LeBistro.
