Just a heads up if you need to call home

If you have Verizon, you can sign up for a "Travel Pass"

In Cozumel this allows you to use your phone for calls and text for $2.00 for 24 hours.

If you have unlimited talk text and over 10gb data plan you can use your phone just like you do in the states. No roaming or extra fees. We used out phone like normal in Jan when we were there. I had called about an international plan and was told not necessary for Mexico including cozumel. We had zero extra charges when we got back

 

Edited to add I just look on Verizon website and apparently this no longer is the case. Odd though
