Transportation to train or bus station in NYC

Is there anyone who has disembarked in Brooklyn and wanting to take a train or bus home to RI or Boston?

There are 4 of us leaving the Regal Princess TA on Sept 23rd and need transportation back to RI. Princess does not provide any transportation.

We are interested in the train or bus to Providence.

Has anyone experience with this?

Amtrak leaves from New York Penn Station.

 

Buses leave from Port Authority Bus Terminal (at least Peter Pan) and from 34th between 11th & 12th (megabus). The 4 of you should take a cab or a car service to Manhattan to catch the train or bus at the appropriate departure point.
