Vacation Protection Plan coverage

Can someone give me the condensed version of what Carnival's VPP covers? I've read through the policy and it's a bit overwhelming. I need the "Carnival Vacation Protection Plan for Dummies" book. ;)

We always get trip insurance but never from the cruiseline. You can get better coverage for less money from a third party.

 

We buy ours from http://www.insuremytrip.com. If you have any questions about what policy you need just call them. They have excellent customer service.
