new.b.cruiser Posted April 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2017 I tried a conch salad when I was in the Bahamas and loved it! Anyone know of a place not too far from the cruise terminal that sells conch, preferably not deep fried, But I'll take what I can get lol Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Forums mobile app
Rare crewsweeper Posted April 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2017 Beached Whale. To your right coming off the pier. Near the excursion dock, whale statute and John Glenn Memorial. But we've found the Sandbar in downtown Cockburntown to have excellent selections of conch and fresh seafood. $7 taxi ride.

mrsfuzzmo Posted April 20, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2017 I love conch as well. Our plan was to go into town, but our port times didn't work. (We were in early and sailed out at 2 pm - all aboard at 1:30 pm. The Cockburn town restaurants didn't open until noon...:(). We ended up at the Beached Whale and had the crack conch and it was FABULOUS! We really enjoyed it.
