Bra_BE2014 Posted April 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2017 For my 2018 annual cruise, I just booked a YC inside and am pleasantly surprised it is 21 square meters big! That is huuuuuge compared to Meraviglia's 16 square meters for the same cabin, for the same price range. Yay! riclop Posted April 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2017 Same as Seaside and lets hope the measurements are correct.
Bra_BE2014 Posted April 19, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Same as Seaside and lets hope the measurements are correct. They are calling it an 'inside suite' instead of just 'inside' like on the Meraviglia. Hopefully it's an indication the measurements are correct! JAGR Posted April 19, 2017 #4 Share Posted April 19, 2017 Where are you seeing YC interior sizes that big? Cruisedeckplans is showing 17 sq. meters on Seaside and Seaview. MSC says 226 sq. ft. (so 21 sq. meters), but it also says the Y1 balconies are 21, but that is including the balcony. The deck plan doesn't visually represent the interiors as bigger, so I really think it's a mistake on the MSC site. I have an interior booked on the Seaside in March, so I'll know for sure then. Rare Beamafar Posted April 19, 2017 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2017 The clue is in the detail "Size, layout and furniture may vary from that shown (within the same cabin category). The image is representative only."
Norwegian Cruiser 73 Posted April 19, 2017 #7 Share Posted April 19, 2017 And it seems like the YC1 cabins on the MSC Meraviglia is larger, 28 sqm compared to 21 sqm on the MSC Seaside/Seaview. That's smaller than the standard YC1 cabins on the Fantasia Class.
