Current UK offer

I don't think this has been asked, and the answer seems so obvious that I just don't get the point of the offer, but . . . . .

 

Celebrity UK are offering the classic drinks package, plus one of free wifi or free gratuities or $300 OBC. What I simply don't get is why anyone would go for free gratuities, since the OBC can be used for the gratuities, and then there'd be some left.

 

EDIT: On TA sites I've found it's $150pp, whereas the Celebrity site implies throughout it's $300pp. Problem solved, but can't delete thus post!

We booked a 14 night Arabian Sea cruise while on board the Equinox last month. The sailing is for March 2019. Booked in US $ while onboard. The free grats are actually worth more than than the extra OBC owing to the currency fluctuations.
