samiam0403 Posted April 22, 2017 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2017 After not sailing with Carnival since 2014 (switched over to CAS comped cruises on NCL instead), I've booked a casino rate with Carnival for a cruise this summer since the timing and location worked out perfectly with a mini vacation we'd already planned. Since we last sailed with Carnival, we've moved and updated our address with OPC and Carnival, but haven't received any mailers. The casino rate I booked includes casino cash, but the fine print states you must present the mailer. Any ideas on whether or not this is true? Or what the current amount is for a 3-night cruise booked with code PTC? I'm sure I could e-mail OPC, but based on past experience with them, figured this would be faster. :D
Wally Alligator Posted April 23, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 23, 2017 Last year I had a PTC email that offered $50 in casino cash.
samiam0403 Posted April 25, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted April 25, 2017 Last year I had a PTC email that offered $50 in casino cash. Thanks for the info - I'm guessing that's probably what mine is since it's been so long since I sailed with them. But really, no complaints here as the casino rate is saving us around $200 over any of the other rates.
samiam0403 Posted April 26, 2017 Author #4 Share Posted April 26, 2017 And of course - once I book the casino rate, I received my first mailer from Carnival Players Club in years. Premier cruise offer with $600 in casino cash. And now I foresee TWO Carnival cruises this year. ;p:')

samiam0403 Posted July 8, 2017 Author #6 Share Posted July 8, 2017 Wow, that's awesome! Congrats! Thanks! I actually ended up, due to lack of vacation time, booking one of the shorter Premier cruises - which included $450 casino cash instead of the $600 available on longer cruises. And I finally got a response from Ocean Players Club about my initial question - my casino cash from code PTC on my cruise next month will be $125. Not too shabby for not sailing with Carnival since 2014! :D
