WiscCruiser Posted May 3, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Our family of 10 will be cruising on the Escape June 10-17, including children ages 13, 9, 8, & 7. Any comments, good or not so good, about NCL's organized youth programs would be greatly appreciated.
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Youth programs are wonderful. Register your kids right after you embark (avoid the crowds) and let them make friends and bond on the first day
wolfy321 Posted May 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2017 I can't speak for Ncl but I sailed with carnival when I was thirteen. I didn't sign up with first day and felt rather out of the loop at first because people already knew each other by the time I joined. Definitely sign them up the first day Sent from my iPhone using Forums
snownow Posted May 4, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 4, 2017 Agree here. We have been on Disney, they kids could take it or leave it. Carnival, they did not want to be there much. On the Escape my 10 year old did not want to leave, my 13 year old... Lets just say we made her come in to eat with us. We did have a 12 year old boy with us last trip, he did not like it at first but seemed to warm to it towards the end of the week. Over all :):) from my kids. Youth programs are wonderful.
