CharlesKru Posted May 5, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 5, 2017 Hello all, I won the right to play in the 2017 Texas Holdem Pokerpro Challenge on August 27th 2017 on-board the Carnival Dream. I am wondering if anyone has ever played in one of these before... If so, do they play on port days? or is it like the casino that they shut down due to being in port. Do they bring in more tables for this ( digital tables ) or are we actually going to have human dealers? I have read estimates that it will be between 350-400 players, does that seem right from previous years? Assuming that I don't lose quickly, how long is each play session scheduled for.. Thanks in advance for any info you might be able to share!
drvmywifecrzy Posted May 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2017 Based on old threads i read, its 10 real tables and real dealers, and you play different flights until you can all play together. Expect each session to last 5-6 hours (provided you dont lose all your chips). If you google it you will see prior year stories about it

Still trying to decide if it is worth the effort of shifting things around to make this cruise...
