Thanks to all on these boards,for answering my many many questions! We just returned from our HAL cruise, it was the most amazing trip I've ever taken! (and I'm not just talking about all the great food!) Thanks to all the great advice I got here over the past few months, we were fairly prepared for cruising. We cruised Glacier Bay (instead of Hubbard) and stopped in Ketchikan,Sitka,and Juneau. Of the three, Sitka was the most amazing and beautiful place. They all had their charms, but Sitka with the Raptor center,and Fortress of the Bear,along with easy walking scenery everywhere,was just wonderful! So much beauty everywhere!

I hope to cruise again in the future, now I can see why it's so popular! And my fears about seasickness never happened at all,whew,what a relief! The cabin We chose was perfect,I loved being down near the waterline,and right up at the front of the ship,I'd do it again right now if I could! (that window was great, now I know,no inside cabins for me) The shows, the food, the staff on board,all amazing and wonderful.
