D1 vs. E3 - Brilliance of the Seas

Have booked a transatlantic for April aboard the Brilliance of the Seas. I booked the E3 at 179 sq ft. Would I be well advised to change to D1 at 204sq ft. for additional $220 total? 13 day trip would the few extra feet be worth it?

My opinion is yes, it would be worth it. We were in an E1 that was the same size. to us, it felt small. Especially for the 12 night med cruise we were on. I have pictures of the cabin at http://community.webshots.com/user/dougp26364

Yes, go for it. We had a D1 on the Brilliance last January, and another in 39 days. You'll love it.

That is a great upgrade price. I would do it, especially on a longer cruise I think you tend to be in the cabin more. I say go for it and enjoy your transatlantic---so relaxing!!!

Depends.... where is the E3 and where is the D1 ?

Location of E3 is nothing special. Not sure where D1 is yet, can;t access their reservation site at the moment.:mad:

The D-1's should be more central location and probably higher up. We have a D-1 and it is hump on the 9th level. we were told well above the lifeboats so our view down won't be impared. The upgrade is pretty inexpensive so if you can get a better location go for it.

On a nice cruise like ur taking, let's face it the cabins r small enough, so a few extra feet mean alot!

Whenever possible, we book the D-1.
