Distance from RailRoad Dock to downtown in Skagway

How far is the walk from RailRoad Dock in Skagway to downtown (Visitor Center, etc...)

I know there's a shuttle (SMART bus) but wondered how long it would take to walk it.....asking more about time than difficulty

(Just by way of clarification...I'm not asking about the Depot for the WP railroad...I'm referring to the dock named "Railroad") ;)

It's a quick easy walk no more than 5-10 min depending on how fast you walk....we've docked there on Radiance a couple of times.

I'd say allow 15 minutes. Especially if you are the aft RR dock. I walk it all the time, and move at a good pace, and it's always longer than 5 minutes.

10 to 15 minutes on Google Maps to the Red Onion. It's a half mile distance.

Downtown Skagway is quite flat, so unless someone in your party has mobility problems the walk is easy and quick.
