I've used Uber in Miami for business travel. It's been fine, no issues. I found this on the internet; not sure how current it is.

Heya! I used uber one way and a transfer the other. The uber was much cheaper, faster and generally easier! It was my first uber trip and I can't recommend it enough.

We always use Jiffy Jeff Transportation. Very reasonable and excellent service.

I second the use of SAS. Very affordable and great service both from FLL to the port of Miami and back.

If its not a large group Uber/Lyft is always the way to go. There is no cheaper or easier option. Unless you are solo which then a shared shuttle will be cheaper.

Most of the shared shuttles suggested above - SAS. QLS, MJS, etc. - charge about $15 per person each way. check their web sites to see if they pick up at your pre-cruise hotel (saves you the trek back to FLL just to catch your shuttle). QLS and others offer car seats if you book far enough in advance.
