Sparkylok6 Posted May 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Good Afternoon, I just want to make sure I have the most up to date information. I am renting a car at Miaimi International from Alamo. I read on here that they have a shuttle to take us to the airport from the Port of Miami. Has anyone had any experience with this recently? Thank you in advance for your help. loanshark Posted May 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 18, 2017 Have a copy of your reservation with you as the driver will ask to see it before you are allowed on board. The use a shared bus with National and Alamo, and have multiple buses, so one will come by every 15 - 30 minutes. The buses have plenty of room for luggage and seating (for approximately 30 - 40 people).
loanshark Posted May 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2017 They are kind of blurry, but you can see them under the overhang at the Miami Car Rental Center here: https://www.google.com/maps/@25.7976645,-80.2610151,102a,35y,115.86h,45.01t/data=!3m1!1e3

Corby114 Posted May 21, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2017 Alamo, National, Enterprise, Dollar, and Thifty provide free shuttle service from the Port Of Miami to the Rental Car Center which is located directly across from Miami International Airport. Some drivers will ask to see your car reservation paperwork before they allow you to board the shuttle. They do that because some cruise passengers are looking for free transportation back to MIA. The shuttles run very frequently and return to MIA when the have a full load of passengers. The trip back to MIA usually takes approximately fifteen minutes.
