Question about Diamond benefits on the Jewel OTS

We just turn Diamond this year and will be cruising the Greek Islands on the Jewel OTS this July.

I have a few questions concerning the benefits of Diamond level on this particular ship:

 

1/ Is there a separate breakfast room for Diamond ( like on Celebrity ships)? If yes, where is it and is the breakfast menu different from the MDR menu?

2/ Do we have 5:00-7:00PM free drinks (like on Celebrity)?

3/ What about laundry? Discount or a free bag?

4/ In Santorini where it is a tender process, do we get priority tender?

 

Sorry about the questions but we just got off the Celebrity Millenium and the perks were not the same so I just want to be sure what or how different they are on RCL Jewel.

Free drinks will be for 3.5 hours nightly in the Diamond Lounge. Usually starts ay 5:30pm or 6pm.

 

 

In addition to the free drinks in the lounge, you will have 3 drink vouchers to use at any bar, during the same period as free drinks are served in the DL.

 

Laundry discounts, but no "free" coupons at the Diamond level.

No separate breakfast venue, but they may or may not have a separate section in the MDR.

 

 

You get 24-hour free specialty coffee in the Diamond Lounge.

 

There is a Diamond Concierge with selected office hours in the DL.

Is the DL the same than the Viking Crown Lounge or a separate venue?

Have to look closely at the Jewel decks plan to find this :-)

When the DL was installed a few years ago, they walled off part of the Viking Crown lounge for the DL. So while it's on the same deck and next to the Viking Crown public area, the DL is now a separate, keycard access room.

I didn't notice this the last time we were on the Jewel. Will look for it for sure since I do need my caffeine fix every morning.

Is the coffee being made when we order? How do I find out what are the opening hours of the DL before getting onboard?

It's a self serve machine. DL open 24/7.

The coffee is automatically ground when you operate the self-serve machine. Your key card opens the lounge 24 hours.
