Transfers in Nice

We're booked on Azamara Quest leaving from Nice. We'll be flying in from NY. We were offered transfers from airport to cruise ship at a cost of well over $100.

I saw online that the distance between the two is only 10 Km, about 15 minutes by car. Should we just get a taxi instead? It would probably be cheaper, no?

The small port in Nice is located on the far side of Nice....from the airport...so this does add a little to cost and time. We would take a very educated guess that a taxi, even with morning traffic delays, would cost no more then 60€...(for the entire taxi....not per person). Taxis in Nice are expensive.....but not 100€.

Last time I was in Nice an Uber from the airport to the centre in a new BMW was half the price of a taxi.
