Does anyone know why I'm only offered a Grand Suite if I enter 4 people, but if I change it to 2 it doesn't show up anymore? I know it happens the other way around with occupancy issues but I've never seen it happen this way?

Also, are GS deposits refundable ?

Deposits for suites not made on board are refundable . If booking on board, they are not.

Bookings made after July 1 may be non-refundable depending on the fare chosen.

My assumption on the occupancy is the website is defaulting to showing you a 4 person GS when you select 4 people but that there are no "2 person Grand Suites available" as in the occupancy is only 2(or maybe even 3) for that particular GS when you select 2 people. This may be done in an effort to not book up all the multiple GS that can hold the extra people with just 2 people, thereby costing RCI money. I would assume you can still book whichever GS if you were to call.

 

This is just a theory though.
