Double Exposure Blackjack Rules and Limits

Hey guys and gals,

Does anyone know the rules of the double exposure blackjack that carnival spreads? Also called faceup blackjack maybe, but it's the version where both dealer cards are up and ties are a loss.

Specifically, does the dealer stand on soft 17? Are there rules against doubling in certain instances? Are there limits to the amount of splits? Can you split 10s that aren't same face such as a queen and jack? Is there a surrender option?

Also what are the limits on this table? Is it still a shoe or is it continuous shuffling machine now?

On the sunshine it was 6 min bet. The dealer hit soft 17. The were no push the dealer won. You could only double down on 9 10 11. Couldn't double down when you split cards. I only watch a little once I read the rules. Big house edge.

I have played something similar in casinos. It's just one of those games to make you feel like you have some sort of an edge but ultimately only increases the odds in favor of the house.

You just described the entire casino :). How do players not stand up to the continued raising of the house edge by not playing. Even standard blackjack games only offer 6/5 black jack

I miss the drink coupons from the classic drinks. You could almost negate the house edge when playing craps with two people.

Its been almost a year, but the last time I played on the Valor, blackjack still offered 3/2 payout, has that changed?
