Can I go the day before?

I booked for a 7 day cruise with air through RCI because its during school vacation and I booked late so couldn't get a better price for the air. I usually get my own air. We now have had second thoughts and want to go a day earlier. Does anyone know if I would have a problem doing this? I hope to keep the same price that I have now. Final payment is not for a couple more months.

Call RCI or your TA, who ever you booked through and tell them you want to go up a day early, it is doubtfull that air is already booked, otherwise tell them you want to purchase the precruise package and add the extra day with hotel. If you are months away from finial payment this should not be a problem.

I'm with you on wanting to fly in a day earlier. I've never booked my air through RCI. The best you can do is call and see if you can cancel that portion without penalty.

If you are before final payment, you can always add a one-night pre-cruise hotel. OR you can pay a custom air fee and have them fly you in the day before. You just need to call whomever you booked with and arrange it.
