SSBrickNJ Posted May 28, 2017 #1 Share Posted May 28, 2017 Inner Staterooms on Radiance of the Seas I'm looking at booking one on either Deck 9 , Deck 3, or Deck 2 They are all the same sq. ft. They all have one pullman bed Deck 9 is my first choice ( it has another cabin above it ) Deck 2 is my second choice (it also has a cabin above it) Deck 3 is my back-up choice(it has a main dining room above it...will that be noisy in the morning?) * Will the price RC asks for Deck 9's Inner Stateroom be more than Decks 2 or 3 even though the room is actually the same? * Is Deck 3's room under the Dining Room something I should avoid or am I being concerned for nothing? Clarea Posted May 28, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 28, 2017 The price will be the same if the category is the same. If the category is different, then the price may also differ. Look at the colors on the deck plan to determine category.
cb at sea Posted May 28, 2017 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2017 The dining room is carpeted...so noise, if any, would be minimal. The dining room doesn't open as early as the buffet. I wouldn't worry about being under the dining room.
Ken at the beach Posted May 28, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2017 It depends on whether your cruise is before at after May 13, 2018. That is when Royals new cabin classifications come into effect and they start changing more for the same cabin but in a better location Sent from my STH100-1 using Forums mobile app
SSBrickNJ Posted May 28, 2017 Author #5 Share Posted May 28, 2017 Thank you to all 3 responders. Yes I will look at the colors...thanks. Yes we will be booking a cruise that is not until June 29th 2018...so the new price policy I guess will hit us Re. the dining room....it wasn't the foot traffic that I thought would create noise in the morning...I'm thinking about the staff who at 7:30AM or 8AM ....they are maybe handling the distribution of plates and glasses? Do you hear that if you are below them or not?
cruzinlady1947 Posted May 28, 2017 #6 Share Posted May 28, 2017 As far as being under the dining room, we had that situation on one cruise. We were probably more under the galley, because we heard carts rolling back and forth all night. Didn't spoil the cruise, but, it was annoying. Just check what part of the dining room you will be under. Best if under the actual DR, instead of close to the galley.
