bee-ess Posted June 20, 2017 #26 Share Posted June 20, 2017 For those who have been on ships recently what were the show times. Are they sticking with the more traditional after dinner times or as the changes to a pre dinner show for late diners still in place on any ships? Terrierjohn confirmed on the Afternoon Tea thread that Azura are doing 7:30 and 9:00 shows. I have asked P&O to confirm this as we are on Azura in October, but am struggling to get a proper reply. This is a bad move for us as we like to dine 2nd Sitting and also like predinner drink or two so don;t really want to do a show at 7:30.

I would suggest you have a word with the Entertainments Manager on board, he's the one that sets to daily programme.

CRUISIN LINDA Posted June 20, 2017 #32 Share Posted June 20, 2017 Goodness, I hope it hasn't changed on Oriana this September. I don't want to go to a show before dinner? We are second sitting and love the show at 10.30. I agree. We are going on Oriana in August. I will report back. RCI did this on IOTS (they may still do it, I don't know, we have never wanted to go back ;) ) It was a nightmare after 2nd sitting dinner, no seats to be had in the bars as there was no late show to "soak up" some of the guests. :(
terrierjohn Posted June 20, 2017 #33 Share Posted June 20, 2017 I suspect that the main reason Britannia has 3 shows is that the theatre is smaller, and with the higher numbers of passengers they need the extra show to avoid too many complaints.
