js Posted June 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2017 Hi. I am sailing on the 8 night Vista cruise on February 24, 2018. I sent in a request and was confirmed for Chef's Table for two people. Is the dinner usually held on the same evening of the cruise? I'm trying to plan other specialty dinners and it's hard not knowing what day the Chef's Dinner may take place. Thank you. jpaolucc Posted June 7, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 7, 2017 I don't have an answer for you, but I have the same exact question. We are on the NYE cruise that sails on 12/30/2017. I left a post on John Heald's blog about it, but I have not gotten a response as of yet.

jpaolucc Posted June 7, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2017 I understand that we will be notified once on board, but isn't there a pattern that can be gleaned based on when Chef's Table occurred on previous sailings?
Loud_curly Posted June 7, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 7, 2017 I was on the Vista back in December, and went to the Chef's Table on the first sea day/formal night. I seem to recall that they have Chef's Table most night of the cruise. The best part was we got to have the formal night dinner the last night of the cruise bc the head chef set us up. So we had our lobster tails and steak after all!
jpaolucc Posted June 7, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 7, 2017 I was wondering if that might be the case. Thank you very much for providing some clarification.
