Pearl 2019 Transcanal

The Pearl is sailing a 21 day route from New Orleans to Seattle in April of 2018 that would look to be a good itinerary for us for 2019. I can't find any spring 2019 sailings for the Pearl yet. Does anyone know when they will be released or why they might not be available yet?

Will depend if Pearl is going to Alaska in 2019. Right now no one knows where the Jewel is going after 4/28/18. Could be some time until the 2019 Alaska schedule is available.

I would guess that due to the timing (2 years), they are still working out the plans. It is a rather extensive process to decide where ships will go from ports, advertising, crews, logistics, etc.

 

But, the biggest gamble on their part is trying to figure out what the public will buy. If the demand for a cruise like the next spring is getting a soft response, they do not want to do it the following year. I can not imagine the difficulty if trying to figure out what routes and ports will help keep their ships full. Must be very demanding and so much out of their control. They can not afford to have ships sailing half full.
