Christmas Decoration - December 26

We are looking at cruising out of Charleston for a quick 4 days get a way after Christmas. Will the ship still be decorated this cruise, or will they be taking the decorations down when we board?

I cant speak to Christmas decorations, but for Halloween, they took everything down early the next morning.. For the 4th of July, they were taking down the small stuff they put out before midnight.

 

Not really sure how fast they would take down the Christmas stuff, but my understanding is they use a 3rd party to manage their decorating per ship. So if you are embarking on the 26th, the crew is probably on taking it down before you sail out, else they have to wait till you get back to finish.

We cruised last year on the Carnival Liberty for New Years Eve and Christmas decorations were still up. We boarded on 12/29.

I have sailed on other Holiday cruises, not aboard a Carnival vessel, however. The Holiday decorations did not disappear until January 2nd. And the Menorah, if one is Jewish, remained for the duration of that Holiday period as well.

They don't take down the holiday stuff until after New Years

We were on the Inspiration last year and got on the day after Christmas. The ship was decorated the whole time. It was really cool to see the lights all over.

Yes, they were up right past NYE.

Do not forget Islands/ports are also decorated. So get out and walk around . We were not used to a tropical Christmas. It was beautiful.
