LabRat33470 Posted June 17, 2017 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Do the chairs on a regular balcony (Carnival Magic) recline any or are they a fixed back? I will be traveling with back pain and it is more comfortable if the back is at a slight recline. Would they allow a folding recliner to be brought and used only on the balcony? hutt1 Posted June 17, 2017 #2 Share Posted June 17, 2017 Usually there is a fixed chair and a reclining chair on each balcony.
JMAE Posted June 17, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 17, 2017 We've had two fixed, two recliners and a mix.
firemanbobswife Posted June 18, 2017 #4 Share Posted June 18, 2017 One had an adjustable back but there won't be a full fledged lounger on a regular balcony because they are way too narrow. It would have to be turned sideways.
happy cruzer Posted June 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted June 18, 2017 Bringing a lightweight chair for the balcony may not work. They don't want anything blowing off the ship into the water. Then again you might get lucky...
Drazil65 Posted June 18, 2017 #6 Share Posted June 18, 2017 On the Magic we had one of each on the balcony, we always get a balcony but this ship is the first one that we have sailed that had a reclining chair on balcony. The only other time we had anything else recline on the balcony was in a suite cabin.
coevan Posted June 18, 2017 #7 Share Posted June 18, 2017 I only remember seeing fixed chairs on the balcony. The only time we had a recliner was the aft balcony.
