Hotel advice post cruise

My cousin is just booking the Venice/Greek Islands cruise on NCL Star, leaving Venice 3rd Sept. Would be grateful for advice on nice hotel , perhaps near a beach close to Venice for 2/3 days after cruise . Cruise returns to Venice Sun 10th Sept. They work hard so need somewhere to relax after 7 days cruising. Any knowledgeable advice would be very welcome. Thank folks.:cool:

Check to see if there are any hotels on the Lido part of Venice that would fit their requirements. The Lido is the only place that has a beach, I believe.

Best place to look is one of the comparison such as Kayak or Trivago and look for hotels in Lido de Jesolo which is the beach area of Venice.

I agree with the previous advice - try the Lido hotels first. Otherwise look at places away from the centre that have a pool (assuming that is what you want). We have enjoyed a couple of stays on the Guidecca - much more quiet, yet still reasonably accessible. There are also one or two big hotels that are on their own little island in the lagoon but we havn't tried those yet.
