Thx [emoji4][emoji905] Sent from my iPhone using Forums I found the offerings for RCL excursions to be extremely lacking and very short at both these ports. May I suggest Do-it-Yourself? Many here on CC simply grab the local bus up to Palm and Eagle beach for the day. Site seeing on either island is another story, albeit the inner harbor area (Otrabanda and Punda) of Curacao is a must see for a couple of hours on your own before getting on the ship. Just a few ideas here that were difficult to research on CC as there was not much info to be had: Aruba: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=50987004&highlight=Day+5#post50987004 Curacao: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?p=51034691&highlight=Day+6#post51034691

Sent from my iPhone using Forums Yep, you're best choice is rent a car (jeep is awesome and not much more $) and do it yourself.... especially Aruba. Very easy to get around and plenty of cool beaches to visit besides the many sites along the way :)

Thx [emoji4][emoji905] Sent from my iPhone using Forums We used Sonny Binns in Aruba. We did a tour of the island and then he was dropping us off at the beach but then it did what it never does in the desert, it poured down rain so we went back to the ship. Had a great tour of the island and i would highly recommend him. Bill

Goodtime Cruizin Posted June 25, 2017 #8 Share Posted June 25, 2017 Want to see the whole Island of Aruba? Do it on these Custom Trikes. We had a blast. Really a fun excursion. http://www.trikes-tours.com
jamesr3939 Posted June 25, 2017 #9 Share Posted June 25, 2017 In Curacao, we rented a car and drove around. The booth is at the foot of the pier and you can't get lost. We found the best beach ever and hung out there for a couple of hours. Then went back, dropped off the car and walked over to the main square, had snacks at an outdoor cafe, and a few cocktails. Probably one of my most favorite ports.

Really a fun excursion. http://www.trikes-tours.com OMG! That looks amazing!! We have 3 couples cruising to the ABC's next March and we all ride trikes!!! Woohoo!! The price is not bad either, so I am going to see if they want to go!! Do you think reserving before the end of this year is enough advance time or do they sell out faster?
