When do you know if the drink package goes on sale?

Recommended Posts

I was on Radiance recently and I never noticed it going on sale. They were pushing the speciality restaurants as well as (had table set up in Windjammer) though out the cruise at regular price.

I think the poster meant pre-cruise.

For our Empress sailing in August. I have gotten several emails about drink, internet and shore excursion sale. Don't know if this is standard procedure for all cruises.

Lucky you, we have never received any such emails......we always have to check ourselves.

Just go into your cruise planner and check periodically. I had a drink package booked and then an offer came up for a drink package plus Voom (ship's wifi) for one device and it was $2 cheaper per day than the price of the drink package I purchased a while ago. I called, they cancelled my original drink package and then I purchased the drink package with the Voom

I just wasn't sure if they email you or not :)

If you ever do get an e-mail it's not like RCI is telling you " Hey save some money, we have too much of yours" - it's a generic "book more stuff at whatever the going price is".
