Rare Host Jazzbeau Posted July 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2017 We will be starting our British Isles Explorer cruise with an overnight in Bergen in August 2018. We have been to Bergen before and have done all the 'usual suspects.' It's too early to see the actual excursion offerings for our cruise, but since Viking visits Bergen so often I'm hoping that other cruisers can answer my questions. We want to attend the Anglican Mass at St. Mary's at 11 am, so morning tours are out. Would they offer afternoon versions of either: (a) A Taste of Norwegian Farm Life, or (b) Exquisite Island Gastronomy? [i'm actually assuming the answer is no, in which case we will visit Gamle Bergen on our own]
helenandfrank Posted July 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2017 On board Star in Bergen now - and very happy to be here. We are doing the farm tour at 9.45am today and there is another at 2pm. Gastronomy tour was yesterday afternoon (embarkation day) at 5.30pm. 🙂
