Group T-Shirts

Group t-shirts are so cheesy.

That's funny - I thought how blessed they are to be traveling with a group to warrant a universal t shirt In my case, my parents are gone, I have no siblings and thus no nieces or nephews and DH story is much the same. The few loved ones we do have would sooner flap their arms across the Gulf than set foot on a ship with use. So it is our small family of 4 that sails and we don't warrant such an investment, lest we do look a bit odd like Thing 1 2 3 4...:)

Yes, they are cheesy! 11 days until 17 of us are wearing them.

Love it!

I have a group of family & friends who have been cruising every year since 2012. We always have a different t-shirt every year we wear the first day of the cruise. We love it!!!!

Hey, everybody! I thought it would be cool to see everyone's group t-shirts. Our cruise is only 49 days away, and I just got our family shirts in today! 999b0321c6779d1d35e5b4dd0349dd1a.jpg

I really like your slogan. Did you guys come up with that?

We're sailing on the Glory next June and taking members of my wife's family for their first cruise (it's only our second). There's 8 of us and I've been thinking about shirts and slogans to go on them. Maybe something like, "On the edge of Glory...pushed by a little crazy." It's still a work in progress. :p We're not sure how they feel, they don't really show much excitement, so I've been trying to come up with goofy things to make it special and fun for them. They have 3 teenage girls so I thought they'd like my choice of cruise theme song, "The Edge of Glory," by Lady Gaga. But the girls shot it down. :loudcry: LOL I'm not giving up, though.

I can't say that I'm fond of this "hashtag" fad we live with nowadays. I'm one of those grouches who likes to say, Back in my day those were called number and pound signs. ;p But I did get a kick out of some of yours. Nicely done. There was someone in another thread who said "ship happens" on a shirt is offensive. They'd probably lose their mind if they saw yours. LOL

No, we didn't come up with it entirely. There are a lot of shirts out there that say cruise control, so we just tweaked it to what we liked!

Ya'll use a local place in your town, or order on-line?

I used a local place called PRNT. (I live in OKC.) They are extremely reasonable and great quality of shirts compared to online places like Custom Ink, etc. They have a web presence online as well with a design platform to create your own t-shirt designs. Or you can upload your designs. Plus they don't have a minimum quantity when you order, so that's great for the wallet! If you're interested, you should check them out! The shirt we got was Bella+Canvas printed with 2 inks and it came out to be around $11 per shirt!

For our last three cruises, we've ordered our shirts from customcruisewear dot com. Their choice of graphics are the best, and their customer service is superb. They even have their own FB page (in case you're interested).
