Best Time

What's the best time to go to Europe on a cruise? I think that will be our next cruise. We are flexible as for the time of year. But I don't know when the pick season is or off season.

Summer is the "season" with the warmest weather and biggest crowds... Late Spring, or Early Fall is less crowded, less expensive in most cases, and also has nice weather.

Also, I agree that fall(September-October) is the best, September being my first choice.

 

But also decide what year too!!! For 2006, the best rooms are already gone. In fact, my SEptember, 2006, has very few if any balcony or oceanview rooms left. So if you are just beginning to plan, I would go for 2007 and book the end of May, 2006, to get the exact stateroom type and location you want-even an aft! Also, by booking in May, 2005, my stateroom would cost us $1600 more if I booked today!! I.E., a top inside is selling what I paid for a central balcony on Deck 8!!!

Which part of Europe? Only reason why I ask is due to European holidays are different, and maybe you may wish to be involved or miss it all together.
