As FTTF prices increase annually, does CCL allow more to sign up?

I hope you find Royal Caribbean to be greener pastures. We dropped Freedom of the Seas this fall for Carnival Magic because of all the bad stuff we've read about Royal Caribbean, how much worse it's gotten over the last five years especially, etc. I guess we cancel each other out. :)

... We are now booked with RC. I've loved carnival and have 10 cruises with them but finally getting smart and leaving them.

Good luck with that. Our last cruise was RC Oasis (our third on Oasis class) and we spent a big part of that week wishing we'd booked Carnival instead.

If I can get just a semblance of priority boarding on one of the larger ships at sea (such as Breeze, our next cruise), I'll feel very reasonably satisfied.

Priority at Guest Services (any kind of priority over those terminally long lines) is a big plus for me.

Luggage: Even without FTTF I've never had to wait more than about 3-4 hours for luggage. (Our last cruise on RC Oasis was one of our longest waits). But sometimes you just get unlucky.

As for that and all the rest: (1.) You pays yer money and you takes yer chances. (2.) It's my money.

Guest services knew. Upon check-in an employee escorted us to GS for them to tell us they were screwing up! As far as complaining to ccl, it's useless. We are now booked with RC. I've loved carnival and have 10 cruises with them but finally getting smart and leaving them. I didn't get a private cocktail party for my group of 10 rooms they promised me and complaining was useless. At this point if they gave me a free cruise I wouldn't take it.

Hi

Sorry that this situation happened. I understand, things happen out of their control. That is why you have to ask for your money back. This isn't the only time or only situation where they might fail to deliver. They do refund. You have to press the issue immediately and escalate it as you can. Remain calm but insistent. Don't forget, you can always withhold gratuities. If they aren't flexible, you can wait, or not, and tell your cabin steward and your wait staff. It's your money, if you aren't satisfied with the level of service that you receive (or service you don't receive), you are allowed to use any legitimate means available.

This advise isn't only for this situation, if they put a price on delivering a service, then you have the right to ask for a refund if they don't fulfill their part of the agreement.
