Hi..,has anyone been on the way Fwd deck 7 inside, and fwd Balcony deck 9 on the Anthem. Please let me know if there was a lot of rocking or motion in these forward cabins.

Much depends on water/weather conditions.

 

General rule of thumb :

Forward has more motion that aft

Middle of ship has less than forward and

Middle lower decks have the least

We had a balcony about 10 cabins forward of the forward elevators on Anthem. I would not book the forward again, partially because of movement, partially because we felt more things we liked were closer to the aft elevators.

Did a totally forward ov on Anthem and loved it. It was on far right and only caveat already mentioned it is a long walk to aft elevators. Other than that I'd do it again.

We were way forward in a balcony on 6 and had a tough time. It was our 8th cruise and we felt way more motion on this particular ship. We broke down and bought sea bands (even though we had 2 unused pairs at home - Grrrr) and were able to enjoy the rest of the cruise.
