What to pack on March SA trip?

Hello - Any suggestions on what to take for a late March early April South America cruise that starts in Santiago and ends up in Ft. Lauderdale? I know what the weather will be like when I get to the Caribbean but not sure how cold (or warm) it will be when we start out from Chile.

Santiago is far enough north that it won't be too cold in March. I'd bring a light jacket but you should have tropical weather most of that trip. I ended a cruise in Santiago in March in 2002 and I wore a T shirt and jeans.

As noted above, most of that cruise is in the Tropics, and will probably be warm. Light layering probably best best for 1st part of trip.
