Viking Waterways of the Tsars in May 2018

We are currently booked on Vikings Waterways of the Tsars in May next year. I just realized that World Cup soccer starts two weeks after we get back. I think it would be a fun time to be in St. Petersburg, but I'm starting to think it might be super busy with people and teams arriving early. Also, we are not able to stay any extra days, because rooms are not available....at least through Viking. Any ideas?

The schedule is not out yet but so far games in Sankt Petersburg will be played on the 15, 19, 22 and 26 of June and 3, 11 and 14 of July.

 

The dates in June are group games and the 3rd of July is the round of 16.

 

10th of July is one semifinal and the 14th is the Bronze final.
