MSC and Me App

Does the MSC and Me app have any use or functionality pre-cruise? ..or is it just an onboard app?

First, you have the app before you board. You get cruise countdown! It also tells me the check-in deadline. On the other hand, the maps on mine don't match my cruises. The itineraries are correct. It has a bunch of excursions listed but don't know how accurate they are.

Any use or functionality? Not really.

I found it useless both before cruising and onboard. Some of the info was incorrect and it wouldn't work once I was onboard. TBH, I didn't follow up as it wasn't of interest to me, anyway. I had better things to be doing with my time than playing with apps.

It's working perfectly for me at the moment pre-cruise. It has my correct itinerary and booking info. I've been able to checkin and correct details. We'll see how it works once onboard

It worked fine for me, too, Ross, pre-cruise. I just didn't think that it had anything of value to offer. The countdown on my IOS device differed from my android and there were a couple of other glitches. It also stated that there is a smoking area in the Brass Anchor - there isn't! (Though, apparently that's "under review").

Yes I agree it says that on mine as well! The actual info is nothing different from what's on the booking pages.
